Construction Control Corporation has provided cost estimating services for the construction industry since its founding in 1984. We have estimated over 4,000 projects, ranging from minor remodels to $200 million building programs. Our clients include architects, owners, developers, contractors, and government entities.
Construction Control Corporation maintains its own database of construction costs, assembled from a variety of sources, including our work as project/construction managers. It is our philosophy that a successful construction manager must be able to effectively estimate construction costs. Construction Control Corporation estimates all aspects of the construction project, including mechanical and electrical systems. Unlike general contractors who assemble costs from subcontractors and suppliers, Construction Control Corporation quantifies and prices all materials, labor, and equipment in the
project.
We are capable of providing all levels of estimating, from programming and conceptual design through final construction documents. Construction Control Corporation’s estimators can provide detailed, accurate estimating with little or no drawings. We take extreme pride in the accuracy of our estimates.
Kris Larson, our President, is one of a handful of estimators in Utah to pass the rigorous criteria as a Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) by the American Society of Professional Estimators
Scheduling
Construction Control Corporation provides detailed critical path method (CPM) scheduling for all its management clients. We have also provided CPM scheduling for contractors, owners and attorneys on a consulting basis. We are well versed in scheduling techniques and use the latest software for our scheduling work.
Value Engineering
Construction Control Corporation has provided formal value engineering services on over fifty projects. Unlike contractors who simply cut scope and materials to reduce costs, we approach value engineering with a systematic, detailed analysis of the project to provide the owner with the best value for their money.
Cost Segregation Studies
Working in conjunction with accountants, Construction Control Corporation has provided cost segregation studies for dozens of clients. Using our ability to quantify and estimate all building systems (especially mechanical and electrical systems), we are able to cost out in detail the personal property assets of a project, allowing the client to accelerate their depreciation and save taxes. We have experience with tangible property regulations and section 179D Energy efficient tax deductions.
Construction Cost Auditing
Construction Control Corporation provides this service to owners who have cost plus or cost plus with a guaranteed maximum price contract. On a recent public sector project, we saved our client $350,000 on a $17 million contract by auditing change orders and pay applications.
Expert Witness Service
Construction Control Corporation has provided expert witness services and testimony for several of the largest legal firms in the Intermountain West. We have extensive knowledge of both the design and construction fields, and the laws that govern them.
